The Gunshot Wound Bicep provides a realistic and durable training solution for simulating high-velocity gunshot trauma to the upper arm. This wearable wound model is crafted to replicate the complexity and severity of ballistic injuries, revealing layered anatomical features such as fat, muscle, hard bone, and tendons. It is ideal for teaching and practicing advanced hemorrhage control techniques in high-stakes emergency scenarios.
Constructed with patented SOFTTECH® materials and high-quality silicone rubber, the wound offers a lifelike texture and visual realism through multi-layered coloration. The reinforced fabric embedded within the skin structure enhances the simulator’s strength and resists tearing under repeated use. The model wraps securely around an actor or manikin using a hook-and-loop fastening system, ensuring a stable and adaptable fit during training.
Multiple bleeding sites are integrated into the wound and are connected to internal tubing that allows realistic blood flow simulation. The system operates with the Blood Supply Pump and is also compatible with SKEDCO® bleeding simulation equipment (sold separately), allowing flexible deployment in various training setups.
By replicating the visual and functional aspects of a high-energy bicep gunshot wound, this simulator empowers medical trainees, emergency responders, and military personnel to develop and refine critical wound management skills in a controlled, immersive environment.
