Description

The HELIOS® System is developed to support hypothermia prevention and management in pre-hospital and tactical care environments, where early thermal intervention plays a critical role in patient outcomes. Designed to address the challenges associated with exposure-related temperature loss, it provides a structured yet flexible approach to maintaining patient warmth during treatment and evacuation.

This ultra-compact and lightweight system features a modular two-piece configuration, allowing care providers to adjust the level of thermal coverage based on operational requirements and time constraints. This adaptability ensures that appropriate heat retention measures can be applied while still maintaining access to the patient for clinical assessment and intervention.

The system includes an easy-load casualty bag that lays flat for rapid deployment and is adjustable to accommodate a wide range of patient sizes. Full casualty access is maintained throughout use, supporting continuous care without unnecessary repositioning or delay.

To enhance stability in challenging environments, integrated blanket anchors help secure the system to most litters, offering resistance against rotor wash and high winds. A high-visibility pocket provides a designated space for STAT cards or triage documentation, supporting clear communication and patient tracking during transport.

By combining modular flexibility, secure deployment features, and continuous patient access, the HELIOS® System offers a practical solution for hypothermia prevention and management in demanding pre-hospital conditions.
