XtractTMSR Base – Insulated Replacement Base

The XtractTMSR Base is an insulated base designed to fit the XtractTMSR Stretcher, providing additional protection and support during prolonged casualty care and casualty movement. Available as an individual replacement component, it allows worn bases to be replaced while maintaining the stretcher’s intended functionality.

Designed with casualty protection in mind, the base incorporates an integrated head pad that helps maintain the casualty’s airway in a neutral position. This feature supports appropriate head positioning during casualty care and transport.

The insulated torso section helps minimise heat loss through conduction by reducing heat transfer between the casualty and the underlying surface. It also provides protection against heat generated by friction, particularly when the XtractTMSR Stretcher is used as a drag stretcher.
