Description

The Beacon Vented Chest Seal Twin Pack provides two vented occlusive dressings in one package, designed for the emergency management of open chest wounds caused by penetrating trauma.

Each 6-inch (15.24 cm) round chest seal features Beacon’s patented one-way venting system, which allows air to escape from the chest cavity during exhalation while preventing outside air from entering through the wound during inhalation.

The venting mechanism is designed to support continued function even if part of the system becomes obstructed.

Both chest seals feature a strong medical-grade hydrogel adhesive designed to adhere to skin exposed to blood, sweat, hair, sand, or water. The flexible dressings conform to body contours, supporting effective placement over open chest wounds.

Transparent backing allows accurate positioning, while large release tabs facilitate application and removal. The seals are supplied in lightweight, puncture-resistant, vacuum-sealed packaging with four tear notches.

With two vented dressings in one package, the Beacon Vented Chest Seal Twin Pack is a practical addition to emergency response equipment used by trained EMS personnel, military medical teams, and first responders.
