The BEACON Chest Seal 2-Pack (Non-Vented 6″) is designed to support the treatment of penetrating chest injuries that may result in open chest wounds. Developed for use in emergency, tactical, and pre-hospital care settings, the Beacon™ Chest Seal provides dependable occlusive coverage to help manage chest wounds in challenging environments.
Constructed with a strong medical-grade hydrogel adhesive, the dressing is engineered to maintain adhesion even when exposed to blood, sweat, hair, sand, or water. The large 6-inch round profile helps provide broad wound coverage, while the transparent backing allows for accurate placement directly over the injury site. A large release tab supports rapid application and removal when time is critical.
The non-vented configuration creates an occlusive seal over the wound and is packaged as a convenient two-pack, allowing responders to address both entry and exit wounds when necessary. The seal is flexible and conformable, enabling effective adhesion across a variety of body contours without compromising performance when folded or rolled.
Designed for operational reliability, the Beacon™ Chest Seal performs effectively in extreme heat and is supplied in lightweight, puncture-resistant vacuum-sealed packaging with four tear notches for fast access in emergency situations. The product is latex free and intended for field use by trained personnel, including military, law enforcement, fire, EMS, and first responders.
The Beacon™ Chest Seal meets CoTCCC preferred features for chest seals and is FDA 510(k) Exempt and CE Marked in compliance with EU MDR requirements.
